FOR REAL THOUGH, I’M RIGHT HERE, 2021
Emulsion paint on wall
Facebook Headquarters, London
For Real Though, I’m Right Here is a 12-metre hand-painted wall work installed in the entrance of Facebook’s London headquarters. Created as employees returned to the workplace following periods of Covid lockdown, the work occupies a threshold space between absence and re-encounter.
Expansive fields of colour and softly shifting geometric forms extend across the architecture, wrapping the wall in layered gradients and faceted spheres. The imagery draws on the visual language of digital environments while remaining insistently physical in its execution, applied by hand in emulsion directly onto the surface.
Installed at a moment of transition, the work reflects on the role of social media during enforced isolation: as a structure for connection, communication and the expansion of networks across distance. Positioned within a corporate interior yet operating at architectural scale, the painting foregrounds presence, visibility and the reactivation of shared space.
